Celebrate a Life

Whether celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or a life well lived, every special occasion is an opportunity to thank our loved ones, friends, and others for enriching our lives or our community.

A tribute gift is a wonderful way to recognize, honor and celebrate people that are important to you while giving back to an organization that you care about.

How do I make my gift?

  • Make a gift online
  • Call the Miami Jewish Health Foundation at 305.898.5602
  • Mail a check to the Miami Jewish Health Foundation c/o

Miami Jewish Health Foundation, Attn: Aimee Siegel-Harris
5200 NE 2nd Avenue
Miami, FL 33137

Please mention the name of the person you are honoring with your gift. If you would like Miami Jewish Health Foundation to notify the honoree or a family member, please also indicate the name and address of the individual to be notified.

What will my gift support? Can I select the area that I would like my gift to impact?

You may designate your gift to any fund that is particularly meaningful to you, the occasion, or the honoree. A complete list of all Miami Jewish Health funds is available here.

If you do not have a preferred area, we suggest the Quality-of-Life Fund, which serves to support a wide range of life-enhancing activities, like music therapy, arts and crafts and community day trips, designed to keep our residents active and engaged at all stages of aging.

How do I mention Miami Jewish Health Foundation in an obituary or recommend that gifts be made to Miami Jewish Health in lieu of flowers?

We suggest that you use text similar to this:

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that memorial gifts be made in support of the Miami Jewish Health Foundation at https://foundation.miamijewishhealth.org/ways-to-give/give-now/.

I have seen memorial benches and pathways on campus; where do I learn more about this option?

We have many opportunities throughout our 20+ acre campus – benches, pathways, and gardens to recognize a loved one. We invite you to Come Sit With Us on one of our new, beautifully hand-painted benches that adorn the lush landscape. Inspired and designed by local artist, Caryn Frishman, these hallmarks provide a serene escape for our residents and loved ones to relax, renew, and connect. They also provide a beautiful way to honor, memorialize, or pay tribute to family, friends, or a special moment.

By dedicating your own bench, you can preserve the memory of a loved one or celebrate a family or friend in a unique and meaningful way. All proceeds of our Come Sit With Us initiative will support the beautification of our main campus.

To learn more, or to select your bench and discuss all available naming opportunities, please contact Aimee Siegel- Harris; asiegel@miamijewishhealth.org or 786.302.6291.
